Marriage and Baptism

Marriage at St Columbanus

A church wedding is a joyous mix of the traditional and official,  and the personal and intimate. It is also, first and foremost, an act of Christian worship involving praise, prayer and the reading of God’s Word. At St Columbanus we have created a booklet designed to help you decide if you would like to talk to parish clergy about getting married at St Columbanus.

Baptism at St Columbanus

Each child is a miracle of God’s creation, and each birth rightly a cause for joy and celebration. At St Columbanus, we are always ready to welcome new children to become to be part of our regular life and worship. We do this in obedience to Christ who called us to make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

To find out more, please download our leaflet, Baptism: Family Matters, which aims to answer any questions you have about baptism at St Columbanus.

Of course, if you still have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Clergy. Your first and best port of call is Kelly in the Office: office@ballyholmeparish.co.uk  or Tel: 028 91 274912
